DJ Ian Head releases a new digital mixtape each month, made available for free and this month he puts together a mix of cover versions that he simply calls Covers Vol. 1. You can download it by clicking the graphic above, or right click and “save as”.

X-Clan are about to drop a brand new album in January, called Mainstream Outlawz (Suburban Noize), and they’re offering a preview of it with the track “Down By Law”, which you can listen to on MySpace.

The album will feature guest appearances from Bun B, Supernatural, and Medusa, and can be pre-ordered through CD Universe.
