If It Ain’t Cheap, It Ain’t Punk: 14 years of Plan-it X Records is a forthcoming documentary DVD about a record store in Bloomington, Indiana that also helped strengthen and expand the city’s punk community through a love of music, current events, and a healthy exchange of thoughts, ideas, and politics. It is very much in the DIY spirit. The documentary is scheduled for release in April, and will be available through Microcosm Publishing
