WHAT’S ON THE TELLY: Make magazine makes the transition to MakeTelevision

Make magazine is a great magazine for people who enjoy making new stuff out of the old, for people who are crafty or people like myself who aren’t crafty but would like to be. It’s very much in the DIY spirit where you are able to magnify the amount of light in a room or to improve your gardening techniques. The magazine has done very well within the 16 issues they’ve put together and now they’re about to take things to television with Make Television. They are testing the waters by airing the show in a few cities, so perhaps by next year or next season, we may be able to see much more.
Until then, Make Television has put up the first two segments of their first episode, which you can view here in an HD fashion. The first one is on a Bicycle Rodeo (old bicycle supporters and newbies to the ways of eco-friendly bicycling will enjoy this one):

Despite the hellhole that television has become, there are still things worthy of watching and I’d like to shine the spotlight on them whenever I can. For the music nuts in all of us, especially those of you who may be into bent circuitry, this video on the beauty of the transitor is for you:
