Image and video hosting by TinyPic

DJ Ian Head continues to make new mixes and tracks, and this time out he hooks up with Verbal Math and together they are Dolla Bin, in honor of those bins at record stores and conventions where sometimes the goods are the cheapest finds.

Together they created an album called Styles You Can’t Afford and the great thing is that they’re offering it for free. Head over to the DollaBin.com website and download it there.

SOME STUFFS: Brand new album from Sizzla out now

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Truth be told, Sizzla Kalonji comes out with albums each year. It may take D’Angelo ten years to release album #3, but Sizzla released his third album over ten years ago, he must be on album #127 at this point. Nonetheless, he continues on his incredible music adventures with Ghetto Youth-ology, and a number of tracks here have an R&B touch to it. As is the case with Sizzla, he always switches his style of singing and vocal effects, and this one is packed with Auto-Tune. While I hate Auto-Tune, somehow Sizzla twists the effect into something that works.

The CD can be ordered from Ernie B’s Reggae, and a vinyl pressing is to follow very soon.

Two Fingers is a collaborative project between Amon Tobin and Joe “Doubleclick” Chapman, who decided to get involved with each other musicially when they discovered they had a lot in common, and that was to stretch the boundaries of sound. The self-titled album was released last week, and you can order the CD through CD Universe or digitally through Paperbag Records.

But you’re asking “what does it sound like?” Listen and look.
