SOME STUFFS: Would you snuggle with Apathy?

For his second album, Apathy is bringing together Mike Shinoda, Blue Raspberry, Phonte Coleman, B-Real, Celph Titled, Chip Fu and many others for the curiously titled Wanna Snuggle?, scheduled for release on October 6th through Demigodz.

While it may be his second album, Apathy has appeared on a number of mix tapes and compilations, so if you’re unfamiliar with him, look for his previous works.

SOME STUFFS: Imaad Wasif a poet or priest?

Those are the words being used in his bio to describe singer/songwriter/musician/producer Imaad Wasif, which is a pretty bold move if you ask me, but are they accurate?

Well, if you’ve paid attention to indie and underground rock for the last 15 years or so, those words may be (close to) accurate. He has found himself on records by Lou Barlow and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and has opened for Neko Case, The Raconteurs, RTX, and Love. You will hear him in a major way through his contributions to the Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack.

In other words, he can look like this because he has done the time. Looks don’t impress? Good, they don’t impress me either but check out this MP3 from his forthcoming album The Voidist, to be released by Tee Pee on October 13th:

Priestess” (7.22mb)
