“Grunt Tube” is one of the more interesting videos I’ve seen in awhile, abstract in nature but allow it to simmer in your mind a bit. Then it becomes (somewhat) clear. The song is from their self-titled album, due out on October 12th. It will be released on vinyl, CD, and the trendy MP3 format, and you can order it by going to Graveface Records. As another sample from the album, you can download “Song For The Greater Jihad” (7.2mb) for free.
Everything about this video is goofy. It looks like an embryo put on make-up and decided to sing, there are people playing instruments that aren’t in the song, it’s such an ugly mess that it makes it great. This is Crystal Castles, you can play it.
