She sat in with The Roots on an episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon recently, and I forgot to look for the video then. It’s a dream come true. The loons of Flaming Lips have teamed up with Lightning Bolt for an EP to be released next week. This is one of the songs from it and Wayne Coyne decided to make a video for it. This is solid and not for the sonically squeamish.
Good ol’ Valiant Thorr are rocking out in a fashion that reminds me a bit of good ol’ NWOBHM, which is very awesome. This is “Sleeper Awakes”, a video that shows you can rock out with your cock out but still have a sense of humor about yourselves.
The group will be on tour starting in mid-August, leading up to their Bumbershoot show in Seattle in early September.
