Lately I’ve been in a minimalist/experimental/avant-garde/noise mood as of late, and I came across this one. This is by a British artist named Ross Baker, who fell in love with The Beatles‘ “Revolution No. 9″ at the age of 10 and his perspective was never the same again.
Sounds very familiar.
I played this and liked his approach. Anyone who is into tape manipulation and audio collage will find this of interest. You may hear bursts of music but these aren’t songs in the traditional sense.
What do you think?
