SOME STUFFS: Medeski, Martin & Wood to release new album featuring tracks from the archives

Free Magic (Indirecto) is the forthcoming album from Medeski, Martin & Wood, a compilation of tracks gathered from live performances of their first acoustic tour in 2007. In other words, no Hammond B-3, no Fender bass, no Medeski surfing the organ solos: all acoustic. Here’s the official track listing for the album, due out September 25th:

They will support this album by going on their second all-acoustic tour, this one being an 11-day jaunt. I have seen these guys four times, not as much as the MMW diehards but trust me when I say that no matter the combination or ingredients, these guys are incredible. Set your coordinates:
