On one hand you have Vorheez. On the other, you have Tone, DJ Rob Swift and Roosta. Right there, that should be more than enough reasons to want to check this out. No? The song is called “Freaks & Weirdos”. Right? In other words, there’s a level of hip-hop which suggests you need to be on your game 24/7, in that you have to be a bad ass from the moment you awake to the moment you take a nap, because “real hip-hop heads don’t sleep”. But the freaks and weirdos of the world will tell you “yeah, I’m a nerd, and I need sleep. I’m not in this for brownie points, not in this for credibility, I’m in this because it feels good to me.” Too emotional? Screw you, because this is how it works. As for this song? It works quite well too. The song is from Voorheez’s album Say Anything.
A new album from Mount Eerie is on the way, and Phil Elverum (b/k/a Mount Eerie) has decided to share the title track to Ocean Roar with fans and potential fans. Those potential fans will be able to see him when he goes on tour beginning next week, you can see his tour itinerary as posted here.
For you dancefloor fanatics, you may want to check out the new track by Galantis, a collective consisting of Style of Eye, Carli and Christian Karlsson (of Miike Snow. Far out? You bet.
You should know by know of the hip-hop duo from Atlanta named Outkast. If you’re into hip-hop music and its documented ways online, you should also be familiar with DJ Pizzo, co-founder of HipHopSite.com. Pizzo, along with DJ Manik, decided to do a remix of “SpottieOttieDopalicious” and give it some new clothing. Not sure if you should listen and/or download? See the lady on the left in the graphic? Don’t keep her waiting.
