VIDEO: Ty Segall’s “The Hill”
There’s an image in this new video by Ty Segall that I hope will catch on as a trend but becomes long lasting: plushie drummers. I welcome this with open arms and fur. The video is for the song “The Hill”, and as long as you don’t go over it, you can be forever young like the anti-Rod Stewart and plush out all day and night.
The song? This will be on Segall’s Twins album (Drag City) due out in a month, which you can pre-order right now via Amazon. What you can also do right now is glance over the information below, what is known in the biz as “concert dates”. Segall will be all over the Americas this month with Thee Oh Sees. He’ll then take a two week break before he’ll be in San Francisco for the Treasure Island Festival, and then another break to prepare for a European tour in November, so hop on a joyride and hoot:
