RECORD CRACK: Fishing to release new 7″ on Waaga
October 23rd. Mark that day, for it is the day that Waaga Records will be releasing a new single by Fishing. “Choy Lin” b/w “White Sheet Beach” is a bit on the synth/electro pop side of things, perhaps smarter than what they were influenced by, and confident enough to see where that intelligence will take them. What you see above is the front of the picture sleeve for the 45, and you may not be able to see it clearly but when looked at close up, you will see a man fishing within the cover design.
Secret story? Probably not, but maybe you can make Fishing and this song your secret this season. Have a listen.
BTW: here is the obligatory promo photo of the two men who are Fishing. One of them is standing on a milk crate. I’m not sure if that’s a thing in Australia, but that’s how Fishing want it to be. There you go.
