With The Soft Pack releasing a new album this week called Strapped (Mexican Summer), they have decided to do a promotional interview in bed with one another. Okay, in truth it’s actually homage to the John Lennon & Yoko Ono bed-in’s they did in 1969 as promotional events for peace through attention and interaction. It may have seem silly at times, but it was a way for Lennon and Ono to break news protocol and say “hey, if you can take time to report this and that, how about reporting about something that can do some good?” This is what The Soft Pack feel they can do with their music, and this video shows why.
Strapped is available in MP3, vinyl, and CD directly from Mexican Summer, or order them from Amazon below.
If you like what you hear, you can check out the group’s tour, which is in-effect.
