VIDEO: AXIS:SOVA’s “Raising Hell”

The great song about this song is that it sounds like it was done on a 4-track with nothing but plugged-in amps, a drum machine or a sampler, and Radio Shack microphones, singing an electronic pop song that sounds like what a warm basement smells like. This is a compliment. AXIS:SOVA is the creator of this song, and while “Raising Hell” may sound like it might lead to a song with blasting guitars or loud distortion, the distortion here is reserved and the guitars are more psychedelic and plugged into a reverb pedal, everything is crisp and dirty. Mike Bingaham put together the video for AXIS:SOVA as a means to promote his album on Kill Shaman Records, Weight Of A Color.
