Are Pancho-San true? Is there any merit to the statement that “Americans Can’t Be Romantic”? If you turn on the news, actors and entertainers are fooling around left and right, but they’re doing that for attention. People are fooling around on a regular basis. Are Americans merely fooling around but not loving around? Also, what is around?

None of this makes sense and you’re probably thinking “John, what the hell are you talking about?” For one, the band are called Pancho-San, and they are from California, so they not only about Hollywood love, but probably that really good real life love. They released a new album called Americans and if you want to know if their statement is true, you can check out the album below via Bandcamp, and download “Americans Can’t Be Romantic” for free.

Are Pancho-San a statement band? I think they make musical statements, but what they say can be interpreted in many ways. The “san” in this Pancho-San is Patrick Abernathy, who is known for his time with Rogue Wave and Beulah. His new project may have an open door policy, we’ll find out with his next project but for this one, he brings on Eli Crews and Pat Spurgeon to help him out, and the end result is what you can listen to below. It may be a throwback, that new wave synthy pop that is loved by kids, parents, and daring librarians, and maybe you.
