SOME STUFFS: Toro Y Moi postpones listening event in NYC following Hurricane Sandy
The original plan was for Toro Y Moi to hold listening parties in New York City for his new album, but due to Hurricane Sandy, it has been delayed for a week. Now, you’ll be able to attend listening parties at Project Parlor in Brooklyn from November 9th to 11th, and at Public Works in San Francisco between November 16th and 18th.
The plan is that there will be 13 paintings done by Chaz Bundick himself, and each one has to do something with a specific song on the album. The listening will be done via headphones, which is unique in itself since it means the community spirit of the music will be inward instead of outward. Cost of admission will be free.
Still on schedule: Carpark’s release of his third album, Anything In Return.
