VIDEO: Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie (trailer)

If you were a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600, this is for you. Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie is an independent film created by James Rolfe and Kevin Finn, based on the internet video series of the same name. The film touches on the myth and reality of a story from the early 1980’s that touched on a video game that was considered so bad by beta testers, Atari made sure no one would ever play it. The theme of the movie is based on the 1980’s, and so are some of the story cliches and special effects, which you’ll see in the trailer. This would be a basic cable classic, up there with Sleepaway Camp, Ernest Goes To Camp, Meatballs, and other movies that had something to do with a camp, but is Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie campy in its own way? Check the trailer.

  1. I was skeptical at first. I thought, “what kind of horrible fan based rip off stuck on the rim of a john crap is this anyways, and why would anyone see this…..”

Then….I saw the trailer. Interesting, fun, feel good, and managed to use cliches the right way….On purpose and full of life! Bravo for pulling off what most videogame filmmakers can’t!!

You can count on me seeing this….Now If only I knew where it was showing….

One question, unrelated…..What kind of name is Time Winters? Is that really his name?
