Niilo Smeds, Russell Higbee, Dylan Tidyman-Jones, and Tomas Galvan are a quarter from California by the name of Dim Peaks, and on September 3rd they’ll release a 10-song album on Gold Robot Records called Time Of Joy. The title is fitting for their style of friendly indie pop, perhaps this marks the beginning of a new California sound.
“Reason” may become the primary reason you’ll want to check them out, you may stream and listen to it or download it for free while supplies last.
As for the record, only 500 copies of Time Of Joy will be pressed, all of them on clear white vinyl and each with a download card so that you’re able to obtain the album digitally. Among the first 100 people who pre-order the record, you’ll be eligible to win a test pressing of the album. These test pressings are playable like the normal stock copies, but are generally prized because only small amounts are made, usually for the artist, the label, and the producer. You may pre-order your copy by heading to Gold-Robot.com.
