This Is Book’s Music is moving

ThisIsBooksMusic.com as we know it will cease to exist. However, “This Is Book’s Music” is just going somewhere else. The website has moved to a new place, which means a new URL, which means you’ll have to update your bookmarks or create new ones. To where? Here:

http://thisisbooksmusic.wordpress.com

Yes, it technically means I am “lowering myself” to blog status but everything about the new place will be exactly the same, no changes. The only change is that you’ll be able to find me at my new home.

SOME STUFFS: Gale Forces release a new single

If you are familiar with drummer Jade Devitt, you may know about the bands he had played with in the last 25 years. He has stepped away from the drums for a bit and has become the vocalist and guitarist for Gale Forces, and who is on the drums? Old friend Eric Akre, known for his work with such bands as Diddly Squat, Christ On A Crutch, Hammerbox, and on and on and on and on. Handling bass duties is Robbie C. Williamson and while I would welcome an album or EP, Jade is taking things slowly and surely, for his last single was released last year in April. 16 months later, a new song is being presented in the form of “Red Flags”, which will hopefully make listeners say “we want more, it doesn’t matter how long it takes. Just do it semi-frequently.”

VIDEO: Black Temple’s “Unlikely Event”

The Who guitarist Pete Townshend once said “this is where it all ends” at the end of his performance at Monterey Pop in 1967. Swedish band Black Temple are about to release new album called It All Ends (Century Media) but it’s a way to let you know that with every beginning, there will eventually be an end and it’s up to you to continue it if you can. They’ve made a video for the song “Unlikely Event” so check out what these Swedes are capable of doing with their brand of crispy and brutal rock/metal. It All Ends will be out on September 4th.
