BANDCAMP SUGGESTION: Autumn’s “twentytwo.”

In her cover photo, Autumn looks a bit sullen, dare I say… autumnal? I’m sure it’s just a vibe she’s trying to give off, or merely one of many different perspectives that represent her as a person and as a singer. She is a vocalist who has a passion for soul, one that seems to have jumped a generation or two but sounds as satisfying as artists from the 70′s and 90′s. For today’s world, one might say she would be perfect for the OFWGKTA camp as the music gets quirky a bit, as if Prince was Tyler, The Creator‘s father. However, Autumn sounds like the kind of woman you would love to hear at 3am (eternal) after a night at the clubs or a long day at work. She is your relaxer, she is your soother, she is the lullaby to your everlasting nightmare. twentytwo may look like, from the outside, someone who rained on your party, but when you truly investigate and explore the situation, you realize that with Autumn, the party hasn’t quite started yet. It’s to come, and I feel that if she keeps on making music like this, this decade will be remembered as the song that helped introduce Autumn to the world. Like her moniker, you’ll fall for her instantly. That is, if you’re truly listening. Take the first step.
