SOME STUFFS: Canadian duo Indian Handcrafts to beat up kids with new album

Come this spring, Toronto’s ‘Indian Handcrafts will head into a studio in Los Angeles with engineer Toshi Kasai, known for his work with Melvins and Red Sparowes. The mission: to record a new album, the duo’s first for Sargent House.

In an era when excessive seems to be the formula for someone else’s view of success, Indian Headcrafts believe that less can be more, joining groups like Jucifer and The Naked Hearts who take their music one on one. After years of playing together for ten years, they found that jamming with each other lead to something that might be considered worthy of a group. Their debut album was released last year, and now they’re looking forward to what kind of buzz can be created for them in 2012.

They will be doing a small handful of shows throughout Ontario, and will also be playing this year’s Edgefest on Toronto this summer. Check it:
