Shelby Lynne has done a lot of bouncing around in the label department, but has continuously recorded and released some great music, of any genre. This country music artist, who has done her share of movies over the years, is about to drop her brand new album, called Tears, Lies & Alibis (Everso).
True to the traditions of country music, this one will be released on vinyl, in this case a nice 180g pressing. The album will be released on June 16th, pre-orders for the vinyl are being taken for the album from Elusive Disc.

Midnight Souvenirs (Verve) is the name of the album by J. Geils Band frontman Peter Wolf, who is pushing on as he enters his fifth decade in the music scene with. For this new album, due out on April 6th, he has Neko Case, Shelby Lynne and Merle Haggard sitting in with him. The album cover artwork was also done by Wolf himself, who says his love of art is as moving to him as his love of music.
