If you saw Xenia Rubinos‘ great video for “Hair Receding” last month but wanted to get in touch with what Rubinos may be like live, here it is. This is her and her band performing “Cherry Tree” in a live basement setting, and this one is hot.
If the song wasn’t as good as it is, the video would hold up incredibly well on its own merits.

Xenia Rubinos is a clever and cute video that is the day in the life of a lady and what she may do on the weekend. It may remind us of our parents and what they do on a daily basis, but perhaps where we’re all eventually headed, thus it’s a reflection of us, our families, and ourselves.
The video was directed Francesco Lettieri, who created the nine-camera set-up when this was shot in Hartfort, Connecticut with the Puerto Rican lady who is the center of the video, Carmen. It’s quite effective.
